The Bush family are shipping out today.
Senior finished school on Friday so we thought we'd take advantage of pre-European national school holidays and take our holiday now. We will in fact return the day she would have broken up at her old school.
So I have packed my £4 Primark bikinis (fabulous - size 16), Michael Jackson Greatest Hits has been loaded onto the iPod, the girls have their rucksacks of toys for the plane and Bush Daddy is still trying to decide how many pairs of trousers to take.. and we're off.
I am trying to keep calm about the fact that he has to fly to Paris for an all day meeting next week in the middle of our holiday leaving me car-less, with two small children, six and half months pregnant in the middle of rural France. I am just hoping that the sun shines and our resident Gite owner - Frank - is good with kids.
